The Arizona State University Women’s Rugby Club formed in 1994, playing hard ever since. The team has been conference champions four times in the past eleven seasons and has gone to the collegiate rugby Final Four once, Elite Eight once and the Sweet Sixteen twice in the past ten years. Four ASU players were selected to represent the USA against England, France, Canada, New Zealand and Australia together with the 2003 World Cup in Barcelona, and they play regularly in international 7’s play. At least one ASU player has been selected as an All American almost every year since 1999.
